Call to Action

It is seen every day, at every school: people are constantly judging and harming innocent people for being 'different' than them or because of the satisfaction they gain from harassing others. As upsetting as it is, it happens daily across America and many people simply choose to be a neutral bystander rather than speaking up and making a change. Bullying is, in fact, one of the leading causes of self-harm in America today. The suicide rate in teenagers is growing and many times it is the result of teasing and mental or physical harm from peers. This is a growing problem across America and it needs to end immediately. Luckily, there are endless ways that people can step up and make a difference. A lot of helping hands and heavy support will be needed to make everyone feel safe and loved. A countless amount of children and teens feel as if they are not good enough because of bullying. Gaining enough supporters to help with open arms and a strong dedication to help prevent bullying ensures that a difference is being made.
